So did Biden reveal anything that Trump said in return or just enumerate the advice he gave Trump? "This is what I told the guy...." is an aggressive play, because the guy can't later claim he didn't hear it. The list itself, as described in your link, hardly seems the stuff of state secrets, given the seriousness of the situation.

My guess is people don't want Trump talking to Biden because it elevates Biden. Trump talks to people. It's one of his few traits that I find potentially valuable.

Trump should have told Biden a bunch of made up stupid BS crap in secrecy for Biden to broadcast. But then when Biden would run his mouth it would just be considered his normal talk or quickly censored by the media.

Trump can and should use Biden as his best guaranty of getting re-elected.
