We live about 1 hour from Michigan so we get the news and most areas have no virus.Several of my coworkers have lake homes in the state and would love to go up and fish. They cannot do this due $500.00 fine if they do go fishing. The same for mowing crews they fall into the don't do that rule.
False news. Crowds of people - in MAGA hats and flying "Confederate flags

It's a simple question, and Vern is apparently just driving conflict for his own amusement.
Believe what you want.

the ANV flag has been turned into a hate symbol,
wrongly so,, but don't see it reversing,
and for those that missed it, from the article

odd thing is, the Daily Fail has more typo's and errors that just about any other paper or article, esp in the picture captionsComment

the flag is a magnet,
one dude flying it, having a bumper sticker , or image on a T shirt even will be spotted, photographed, and used to turn whatever event into a rally of hate,
that's the way the media works nowadays,
here in RVA, during our rally at the state capitol for gun rights, a few folks carried one,
yep, they were photographed and shown often,
also had a photojournalist toss some brass down on the street and take a few pics,,
staged photo,, in case needed if someone got shot I guess,,Comment

The Confederate battle flag referenced was not exclusive to the Army of Northern Virginia. The Confederacy had numerous armies, as did the Federal Government. The Confederate armies had many types of battle flags although the type often referred to as the stars and bars is the most easily recognized. It was used to some extent by armies in different theaters during the war. And while it and other types of battle flags carried were not United States flags, they are certainly American flags. It is interesting how the Japanese national flag has been retained since ww2 with no criticism. It certainly could be considered offensive to many countries in light of Japan's war record.Comment

You have no idea how many ANV flags were there or not, so don't criticize on that basis.
Others have pointed out that the Daily Fail will take any story that makes the USA look ridiculous. Don't just filter out the ones that target the right while applauding the ones that target the left, because then you're just proving out their business model.Comment

Do you remember Khe Sanh? There was a C-130 landing there that ran off the edge of the airstrip and collapsed the landing gear -- just an accident. The plane was declared unrepairable and canibalized for parts. The hulk was left beside the air strip.
EVERY TV newsman who reported from Khe Sanh stood in front of that hulk to tape his report. It gave you the impression that C-130s were being shot down in wholesale lots.Comment
