Read the people comments on the Daily Mail w/ Brits criticizing Trump

The Trump show is cancelled! President WALKS OUT of coronavirus briefing after 22 minutes and refuses to take questions after his disinfectant disaster as White House looks to 'cut back his daily updates'

There's no question but that the DM is anti Trump.. but I guess what really burns me up is the personal anti Trump remarks in the comment section by British posters. I guess I feel American politics is American's business not theirs..
Am I wrong? or being overly critical?.

    Read the remarks...

A lot of those comments are non British, but to be sure, nobody cultivates the fine art of the cutting insult quite like our UK friends. It's one of the few things I admire about the English, specifically, because the culture dictates that you have to be able to take them too, not just dish them out. Boris understands this in a way that the Big Orange Baby (referring now to a UK caricature of Trump) never will.

Good link Ray, thanks for sharing.

Why go out of my way to read the Daily Mail? How could their criticism be more vicious or unremitting than the attacks every day in the evening news programs of PBS, ABC, NBC, CBS? Don't believe any Brit or other foreigner could say anything more scathing than what's held up by the media in this country as "objective journalism."

Back in '08 one of the networks had 'man on the street' interviews all over the (mostly third) world 'who is your preference for President of the U.S.?'
Screw 'em. How 'bout Curtis LeMay?

Your proposal is what exactly? Force the Brits to close down all unmoderated comments sections if they have been used to criticize Trump?

I read the DM because I enjoy reading their posts....As they do have some interesting posts not like our popular news agencies with is too much political based....And besides, in my opinion the US press gets a lot of their information and articles via the DM.. So generally you see it in the DM first...
At least the US media is US based. And it does at least have a right to criticize it's own countries politics..

You forgot Fox. Oh wait it's only vicious if you disagree with it, right? Wrong.

I wanted a conservative hard line tough president. Why did it have to be Trump.

Oh, if they were criticizing Hillary, or Pocahontas or Biden, he'd have PLENTY of trouble with it.
