Navy's top brass arse shiners are at it again ...

They really screwed up when they fired Captain Crozier instead
of the creep who leaked the Captain's memo to the Press.
Now, instead of reinstating the Captain they're making up some
weak excuse about investigating as to how the virus spread aboard
the Carrier. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but I guess any
excuse will do in order to avoid doing what they should have done
weeks ago - giving the Captain back his job and finding the leaker.

The orders for shore leave came down to the Captain from the chain of command. Who was above the Captain giving the orders and how far into the Pentagon?

They didn't know about the virus when shore leave was approved so
I don't blame anyone for that. I want to know who the leaker is as
he's the one who needs to be punished.

Leakers in Navy? Better use the bilge pumps.

I also wonder who leaked the info. Someone from the Carrier or someone from the staff of the person the letter was sent to. I have to assume that would be at the Navy HQ and or up the chain of command. With the virus being on board, to what extent does it have to be that it would affect the readiness of the carrier crew, the air crew support and pilots.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
