    Infrastructure

When the Senate Majority Leader is married to the Transportation Secretary, at a time when the Federal Government is shoveling money as fast as they can print it, one might think that a long overdue infrastructure bill might be in the works, for both the jobs, and the benefits to commerce that come with good roads, bridges, ports, etc. One might think, but if one did, they would be wrong.

The Republican philosophy of spending seems to be that it's okay to do so, in great gobs at that, so long as the government doesn't get any credit. They would not want the thought to form in the public mind that government spending leads to anything good. But make no mistake, Republicans do like to spend.

Note to Vernon: when the government prints money and sends it to you, it is not, as you like to put it, giving you your own money back.

Pelosi was the big spender demanding pork money for her projects in the last government bail out. BTW, Pelosi will turn 80 soon. Time for her to get out and take with her that Supreme Court hag too.
