    The great chicken liver mystery

In Northwestern Arkansas there is currently only a few items still unavailable in the local stores. Just yesterday I found all kinds of toilet paper towels and even some .223 ammunition. What is absolutely unavailable at every grocery store in the entire area... chicken livers? Yep the common chicken livers that had been selling for $1.89/lb are a thing of the past. The same hoarders that have 1,000's of rolls of toilet paper, 10,000 rounds of .223/5.56, .308/7.62 must have a hundreds of pounds of chicken livers stored in the freezers. You can still find chickens though, whole chickens, chicken breasts, legs, thighs, wings but no livers.

Somebody ponder that one for me.

Red are you a disappointed shopper or did someone put this on your radar?

Tried to keep an open mind, eating some once. Nope can't do it. Dogs love 'rm though. And Chinese.

livers and Gizzards are a Southern thing,

wife and mother loves some livers, good friend loves some gizzards,

I never cared for what we called Offal when I was in the meat business,

But steak & kidney pudding is ok, as is Haggis, blood pudding, and offal meatballs...
