    Saving Social Security

Democrat Senator Ginny Talia was talking with colleagues Monday and was overheard saying :

"Americans over 70 years old should just be euthanized. That’s how to save social security.”

(Before responding to this post, say her name out loud, several times, rapidly.)

When you're six feet under, the young 'uns will save your entitlement. Of course, under this system, they'd only draw for about three years before it was their turn to greet the undertaker.

How's this any different than sacrificing grandma forthe economy in Texas?

        Narrator: It's not.

I believe that was more or less the plan at the outset of Social Security, yes? Life expectancy was not much beyond retirement age.

My wife worked for years, then retired. She suffered an awful accident 4 years ago leaving her partially disabled. She tried to get Social Security disability. She was turned down. Reason given: she hadn't worked 5 years prior to the accident. Total B.S!!

knew a guy that worked for Merita Bread, ,

worked every day of his life,

every day, (hit some stores on Sundays and Weds, his normal day off,)

finally retired, and 2 weeks later,

              dead,

              sad,

My wife was on S.S.disability and when she turned 65 it stayed the same except they call it soc.sec. now. No difference in the amount.
