Well Trump IS a liar, but his supporters argue his dishonesty is a tactical asset to confuse the enemy (the majority of voters who preferred someone else).

Anyways, arguing against dementia is the fact that Biden is repositioning his campaign in light of Covid, around the idea of a strong federal response to the virus. Trump by contrast is sticking with a weak (but nonetheless expensive) federal response, which all agree is a policy that demands less of the POTUS.

So kind of a modern redux of the 1932 campaign.
