Poor Mitch had to concede he was wrong..... or is admitting you were wrong better than admitting you are incompetent ?

He, as a representative of the Trump presidency, whined loud and hard that the Obama administration did not leave behind any plans in case of a pandemic....a falsehood.

The fact that three years went by without the present administration creating one of its own is incompetence, as is being unaware of the 69 page plan Obama left behind .

How about the Pandemic Preparedness Office that Obama left behind and Trump abolished, or the Global Monitoring system that had its funding cut by 75% ?

So whats the deal ? Ignore the pandemic play book and eliminate things just out of hatred of Obama ?...or just plain incompetence ?

Thought we all used to believe in the old saying .... the buck stops here .

It is a core tenet of Conservatism since Reagan that government competence is to be feared, not valued. I don't know what comes next, but clearly the Reagan era brand, which would define Mitch's career, is on its last legs.

I think it's funny that he chafes at the "Moscow Mitch" moniker. Well he worked hard to earn it.

He will take pride however in his part in seating an entire generation of judicial activists, who hope to legislate for decades from the Federal bench.

That's the funny thing now. The doctrine of a plain reading of statutes and the Constitution is a Liberal practice in 2020. It took about 40 years, but that pendulum eventually swung to the other end.
