If you don't catch the Virus, you won't die - ever ...

From everything I read, see and hear, all those people
who have died, did so because they caught the Corona virus.
Trouble is, this new fangled test procedure seems to find
that everyone tested tests positive for the virus.
So, if you can avoid catching it by maybe locking yourself
away in your basement, you'll be safe and you'll live forever.
Of course, if you're the only survivor, it won't be much fun.

If someone is the only survivor, it's important to take care of your eyeglasses.

ABSOLUTELY, that's the implied "message" of the fear-mongers, inc. several on this forum! Just survive Chiflu , & you needn't worry about death in a driving accident on your way to work, heart-attack, cancer, Alzheimer's, etc.

Quite frankly, I think a lot of covid-19 deaths are not actually covid-19 deaths at all. In our area, an older man who has had respiratory problems for years developed pneumonia. All his symptoms seemed to say covid-19, but he was house bound for a very long time previously. He died unfortunately, but was listed as a covid-19 death. In fact, I think he died of pneumonia.

It's a grey area. Covid-19 without a doubt is pushing people over the edge.

And they have a statistic for this...excess deaths. It turns out that death stats are routinely reported, and so there's a pretty good history for most regions of what the expectation value is for deaths in a span of time--week, month, etc.

When Covid comes to an area, the deaths tick up significantly. The contrarians say this is because people aren't being treated for the other ailments. But for acute cases, life or death, not true.
