Michelle and Oprah were fairly compensated as entertainers, like Ted Nugent or Dennis Miller. Tastes vary.

"The essence of life is unfairness" seems like an apt reply to many of your posts.

But if you want to talk about the inequities of life, explain why such an arrogant POS as Moochele is now worth millions. Or, in the case of an even greater POS, Oprah, BILLIONS.
A thing (including an hour of someone's labor) is worth what a willing buyer will offer and a willing seller will accept. If someone offers you a dollar an hour to work for him, and you accept, then the two of you have agreed your labor is worth a dollar an hour.

Conversely, if he offers you a thousand dollars an hour and you accept, the two of you have agreed that's what your labor is worth.

And no one else has a right to claim your labor is worth more or less.

there are meat cutters, or what they call them now making $20 hr at some local stores,

meat managers in your larger Kroger's will pull down 75K a year in his area, if not more, depending on overtime

food lions etc make a good bit less, but still decent pay for that industry (or what is left of it)

From logging to yard services the thing most have in common around here when you try to hire them is if you can pay them in cash.

Yes, that's their big advantage as labor--no paper work. However, I pay mechanics, carpenters, or anybody that does work for me in cash anyway, & they appreciate it. The one time I tried to hire some wets for yard work, they demanded, in addition to cash, that I provide them with their LUNCHES! FTS, I told them! I had been bringing my own lunch when on the job since the age of 14, so I sure wasn't going to do it for fng greasers.

Well back to the topic of the thread that Covid 19 is overwhelming affecting non white people. If thats the case then the cities that are having rioting and protest should see an increase in infection rates because I didn't see much social distancing going on.

Yes, that would be tragic. If it happens, it will keep the hysteria boiling. If it doesn't happen, the media will keep the hysteria boiling anyway.
