The cities where people are protesting and rioting are all Democrat

George Floyd death: The cities where people are protesting and rioting are all Democrat controlled cities.
The death of George Floyd, a black man killed by a white Minneapolis police officer on Memorial Day, sparked widespread violent protests in more than a dozen American cities.

I just reread the list and one is not a Democratic mayor controlled city and had a minor protest.. but all the rest are and had major riots.. does that say something?

Togo, did't see you in any of the photos...were you there?...Lol

    Here's the list...

The death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who died in police custody after a white officer kneeled on his neck for more than 8 minutes, has sparked widespread violent protests in dozens of American cities.

Is there a Republican run city for reference?

Pretty sure the whole country is affected, except for BFE.

I mentioned something about riots right at the start of the lock down.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Yep, but this is a different issue entirely -- although frustration over the lockdown may play a part,

In our small town of 25,000, the lead black leader said there would protest here in 2 days. Guess it takes that long to bus in the instigators.

The biggest "protest" here in the rural area is lack of stuff at Wal-Mart. I feel sorry for those of you who live in the hot spots of the nation.

There is always an exception to the rule. As I write this Houston has had minor problems, I've seen video of the local founder of the Black Lives Matter group get into a fist fight with another black man on the steps of City Hall, and some white young adults get in the cops face and throw things at them which didn't end well for them but all in all no real problems. I don't know why maybe its because the governor got ahead of the potential problems and sent the guard and extra cops to the major cities early. I do support our mayor, while I don't agree with his politics I have found him to be great in a crisis or it could be that we are Texans or it could be that most of us outgun the cops and the trouble makers know that or maybe all of the above.

Those "hot spots" are the democrat run cities and those people you feel sorry for
are the ones who put those democrats into office.

We locally are having the protest on the court house steps, probably about 10-15 people. 40' away is the Sheriff's Office, down the street is the city P.D. It will be peaceful and it is a Democratic city/county. Now if the college student's were here there would be problems, that is for sure as it has before. The Sheriff is a Democratic of the old style like my parents were, a decent guy as well as the deputies.
