    Exhibit 1, the dimwit from Galesburg. Does he look capable of masterminding anything? It's the right's love of hierarchy that has them seeing an evil mastermind everywhere. The worst example we can think of being the way the Nazis demonized "International Jewish Financiers" (eg. Rothchilds, et. al.) as the reason for Germany's problems after WW1. By sheer coincidence, George Soros is a jew (non-observant but unclear if that matters).

      And stock buybacks, in which the proceeds go to people who are reducing their stake in the company in order to generate paper profits for other shareholders. Worse yet, the more effective a stock buyback is (at raising the share price), the more foolish the expenditure is from a business perspective. The business is literally buying in an up market. Unlike R&D spending, no jobs created either with stock buybacks.

      Leave it to Vernon to miss the important detail I guess.
