    Another Hope Hicks Misfire

Trump likes having her around, brought her back to the White House. Easy to see why, from a male perspective. But this is twice now she's given bad advice.

The first time was the series of Coronavirus briefings which ultimately led to the infamous"bleach injections" episode and cancellation of the show.

This was a one time special. Get Don out of the bunker and on the streets! In front of a church with a borrowed Bible! The photo is ridiculous and the imagery will be how the cops cleared a cordon to make this little stroll possible.

One more blunder and I see her headed back to Connecticut.

Like it. Background is a Church torched in the course of demonstrators by left-wing liberal political protesters. President Trump simply walks down Bible in hand to the Church, says what he needs to say, and then walks back up to the White House. No bullet proof shields. No swarms of fellows with tactical bulges under their dark suits. Just a NYC man walking around Washington DC. What's not to like? Sincerely. bruce.

Mocking the religious zealots again. He has absolute contempt for everything.

The clergy of the parish and the bishop rightfully condemned the charade.

Does Mr Trump actually attend services at that church or is it just a backdrop for a photo-op? If he actually is a regular attendee then the visit is legitimate. If he is not a regular attendee then his appearance there is contemptuous.

Only regular members of this church allowed to protest the vandalism? Shouldn't care if you aren't a member? What's "contemptuous" is the reaction of the far-left clergy--the US Episcopal Church (AKA "Church of What's Happening Now") narrowly escaped being thrown out of the worldwide Anglican Communion because of its celebration of homosexuality & other non-Christian policies.

How's that, Bruce? Something about no swarms of fellows & bullet-proof shields for the stroll?

Contemptuous it is then, with a borrowed bible, and no prayer or meaningful words exchanged with the vicar. That he thinks (with good reason) that the religious right in this country will swoon over the image, tells you the how far they have fallen.

Now if this was a BLACK church, the arsonists would be described as White Power terrorists.

                        was the Vicar notified?

and if so, did he/she decide not to attend?

They were not, based on public statements.

Not if you're on drugs. Perception is reality, as they say.
