How about this then.....rolling like the mall was full of Branch Davidians, curfew or not, was a needless use of force, used only to get POTUS the vanity shot he desired after reading about how he was widely mocked for hiding in a bunker on a previous night. And it has backfired. Damn, I want to change my .sig but circumstances won't allow it.Comment

The biggest fool is those on the left in our Republic who support those who are now destroying the black community and fanning out to others. Trump sending in troops is nothing new, has happened many times. People are "sickened" at the thought, will so am I at sending in troops. This should not be needed, yet it is. I dealt with the type that you now see on tv breaking and destroying, color of people does not matter. I saw whites and blacks doing this, so what?
To send in combat troops must be a last resort when civilian control is lost. Burning and looting will bring social change??? How does destroying a black business in a black community help the black population? How does business not returning, having to charge higher costs to the black community help it? In my hometown 50 years ago "urban renewal" came in and destroyed old buildings that had mom and pop business in them. The city council had this "theory" that by destroying rebuilding would follow and more business would come in. 50 years later still just an empty lot for sale. Building owners took the money and ran, so did mom and pop. My hometown has seen all of the major industry leave and so did the people.
If the cop had been black would this incident have been noticed?

you just pointed out the biggest issue with these protests,
a few years ago we had a guy get shot by the police,
big stink, small protests, lots of air time,
guy somehow ends up naked in a car, and then assaults a police officer, who shoots him,
dude was a pillar of the community, salt of the earth, diehard family man, kilt by the police for no good reason,
then the details came out when the questions were asked,
cop was black,
dude was black
dude was naked and driving around cause he was lit up on some bad drugs
dude had previous known drug problem
etc etc
suddenly something shiny glistened in the sun and attention went elsewhere,
also read eslewhere that antifa has a $14 million dollar bail fund,,
why? and who in their right mind would donate to such a fund?Comment

The enemies of the Republic, foreign and domestic. I have many friends who are LEO, some white, some black all think the same. I understand their thinking and usually agree with them. Locally I have a black farmer, he dresses like I do and drives a Ford F-150. He is a hard working guy who I can understand as we are in nearly the same situation of daily survival. I have more in common with him then a black from the city.
It isn't about color but character of the person. A black American is no different then a white American, it is the character of their being that changes them in society.
