Don't believe I read anywhere that Floyd was killed by four "white officers" ... only one, and other officers were in attendance .

Shows your ignorant belief Sam that it's only being made a big deal of because Floyd was black .

Now Floyd... surely was no Angel. In fact he served 5 years for armed home invasion back in 2007.

So... where do we go with that ?... the white cop was right ?.... the minority cops were right ?

Floyd was probably a scumbag ... but he still died under police custody regardless of what he did and regardless of the police officers ethnicity and that isn't what this nation is all about.

Sam you make the comment later in the thread that the one thing the officers have in common is the color of their uniform.....

then why did you bring the ethnicity of the officers into the conversation in the first place ?

              so,

since we know one guy is Asian, another guy appears to be a person of some mix of colors, and the 3rd is , according to CNN and the other link, a white guy,
google says Thomas Lane is either the guy in MN, and is also a student that killed some folks a few years ago,

google images show a boatload of Thomas Lane's, including young woman with a hyphenated last name,,, but not a one that resembled the young hispanic kid,

now,, depending on the paperwork and source, hispanic is a race, or an ethnicity, (Sam, you filled out a 4473 in the past 10 yrs or so?)

google image search of the original pic gets a pile of hits on twitter and reddit, all in meme form,

so, looks like this meme is fake news

Read that Lane was on his 4th day on the job, Chauvin his training officer, when George Floyd was murdered. Incredible, if true. Totally impossible situation in which to put a new guy. If that holds up, then the department owes Lane an apology and the spotlight is going to shine on the chain of command, and rightly so. One of the other cops on the force since December 2019. The Minneapolis PD is failing its own.

This is what I have been saying all along -- Chauvin the senior cop should NOT have been physically involved in taking Floyd down. He should have directed and supervised the other three cops.

What is going to be interesting is when all of what happened comes out in court and I mean all. How were the police officers trained, what restraints were allowed to be used, why were rookie officers allowed to patrol alone without a senior partner? Why were the cops fired without a hearing? This is going to blow up in the face of city officials and I can see the city having to pay our big $$$ in liability by the rush to judgement.

Chauvin was the senior officer and the training officer. As I said, he should not have been in the fight -- he should have supervised the other three.

Come to think of it, I have. Funny thing, there were no riots.
