The point is deliberate suppression of the facts because they might cloud the "innocent victim of police brutality" myth the media & Dems (is there a difference?) have constructed. All former complaints against the cop were immediately disclosed--why not the same for Floyd? Another fact suppressed is the autopsy report, showing the mixture of drugs in his system--even more relevant than his criminal history because they help to explain his violent resistance, & the force required to subdue him--you don't think being high on meth (esp. in such a giant of a man) has anything to do with the fatal outcome? It doesn't justify the outcome, but why have all these facts been concealed throughout the thousands of hours of televised hysteria?
I believe General Mattis is correct...

To ask the obvious question, if these facts are being suppressed, then how is it you are able to discuss them? Your post makes no sense in this regard.
Do you think the Floyd death was a one-off of bad policing or the tip of a systemic problem, as the protesters say? What happened to Ahmaud Arbery was bad enough, but what really set people off is how the cracker sheriff's
department kept the case on a back burner like that. If that isn't evidence of a systemic problem, what is?
To the bigger question, should someone's race, ethnic background, gender, set their place in the social hierarchy? Should some people rank higher than others because of some factor baked in at birth? Per our founding documents the answer is firm "no". Either we choose to live up to those documents or not. Trump of course represents a faction that would destroy the Constitution in order to save it.Comment

That's an expensive hat; must be made in a Union shop where they get paid $25-$30!RE: Bruce's Authoritative Cesspool.
Look at this funny a$$ letter written by Trump, sorry Trump's lawyer supposedly. Some knob slobber followers turned on Mattis...not the tune they sang months ago. Everything Trump touches dies, next it's the republic itself. Mattis has an intact record, that other guy doesnt.
Jim:
I slept on your statement and woke up appalled and upset. Never dreamed you would let a bunch of hack politicians use your good name and repuation-earned with the blood and guts of young Marines You did what you said you would - engage in this discourse. Marines keep their word.
The phony protesters near Lafayette park were not peace and are not real. They are terrorists using idle hate to burn and destroy. They were abusing and disrespecting the police when the police were preparing the area for the 1900 curfew. Jim, this is the new nihilism. See Dan Henninger in the WSJ today. Marines support the police in harm's way.
Did you forget that President Bush used active duty Marines to quell the riots in LA? President Trump has countless cities and some snowflake governors and mayors wetting themselves in the use of force to protect innocent lives and property. The AG of Massachusetts thinks burning property is good protest. Three more policemen were stabbed and shot in NYC last night.
Think about it. Should he be upset about the obvious failure of leadership? Where are you Jim?
Marines go to the fight.
No one divided the country more than Obama. He abandoned our black brothers and sisters. He gave guns to the cartels. He apologized for our precious sacrifices and generosity overseas. You remember, he fired you.
President Trump has done more to help our minority brothers and sisters in three years than anyone in the last fifty. Ask the black pastors. Ask the leaders of black colleges and universities. He got them funded. Ask them about the prison reform which ended the draconian sentences imposed on young black men enacted by Biden and his hacks.
I understand, you had to stick to the assigned narrative which did not include three years of corrupt investigations and evidence to destroy this President, his office, and his lawful free election. Nancy has no tolerance for dissent in the ranks - including those with stars.
You said nothing of the ugly, hate filled, disgraceful comments of Pelosi, Schumer, Perez, and other Democrat hacks defaming the President and his office. You said nothing of the unlawful sanctuary cities and the unlawful release of hoodlums. You said nothing of the resistance movement to paralyze our courts and our government operations. You said nothing of the obstruction and subversion of our immigration laws. You said nothing of MS-13 killers and the drug cartels who own huge sections of our major cities. Jim, do you think that hateful rhetoric and those corrupt actions were inspiring and unifying? Do you think the DI's at Parris Island would find behavior as unifying?
Maybe, your problem, is a lot deeper. Perhaps you ought to explain why you (and John Allen), as CG Central Command, did not engage and take our Iranian Major General Soleimani who roamed the Middle East and wreaked havoc and death of our American boys with his infamous IEDs?
Why did it take President Trump to have the instincts and balls to take him out ( of course over the objection the geniuses in the Pentagon)?
Looks like the Persian mullahs were a one horse sleigh and Trump nailed the horse...forever. It has been quiet ever since. Perhaps, your anger is borne of embarrassment for your own failure as the leader of Central Command. Did you applaud when the President recognized the central problem in the middle east? Did you applaud when he wanted to save American lives by bringing them home in one piece?

Because I took the trouble to look for them, which the lazy, ignorant, public will not! Furthermore, I said they were being suppressed by the major TV news networks, the ONLY news source for most of the lazy, ignorant, public, not ALL news reporting services like the NY Post, among the few not totally subservient to PC.Comment

Re: Bruce's religion... With respect, I have found that people have noses, and people have opinions. Noses come in all shape and sizes. The same with opinion. It all depends on who is looking at the nose or listening to a opinion being expressed. When it comes to politics, people seldom notice other peoples nose. But you can always tell when someone has their nose out of joint be cause of a contrary opinion being expressed. For the true believer of a political opinion, failure to agree is the litmus test for "truth, justice and the American way." These true believers are about as rooted in reality as devotes of the old TV show from which the quote is extracted.
I have in the same day been called a flaming liberal by those who thought I was rigid and unyielding in support of the 1st and 2nd Amendment. Apparently some seem to have a low view of our constitutionally guaranteed freedom of religion. Some have a even lower view of the RTKABA. On that same day I was called a narrow-minded hateful fundamentalist by those who insisted that my refusal to adopt and use their invented vocabulary was evidence of my supposed narrow-minded hateful fundamentalism.
If anyone is a fully persuaded supporter of Trump, fine. If anyone is a fully persuaded supporter of the 2016 failed demokratic presidential nominee, fine. I was not ever persuaded to support Trump. I was for a variety of reasons fully persuaded that I could not in any way support the unindicted criminal conspirator nominated by the demokrats as their 2016 candidate. At present there is no rational that can persuade me to support yet another demokrat candidate whose qualifications boil down to his lifelong association with demokrat extremists who have proven their willingness to do anything at all that will further their left-wing liberal social and political agenda. Sincerely. bruce." Unlike most conservatives, libs have no problem exploiting dead children and dancing on their graves."Comment

"Make a living" is the salient fact--no agitation, no paycheck. Some colleges actually offer classes teaching the methods to do it most effectively. Of course, they've got plenty of help from amateurs doing it "just for fun," but professionals paid to keep others stirred up are the most important factor. Wish a reporter would ask that FAH Mattis to explain how this contributes to "unity"!Comment

No rethink needed. It's a fact of history. What churches do with the traditions passed down to them--written or unwritten--is theirs to decide.

Hang on there. Is it the stirring itself or the direction of change? It matters because Trump was elected to stir things up in his own way, was he not?Comment

Fish in a barrel, Ray.
Yes, the Guardian, but the quote is from a Trump supporter:
Northampton County, Pennsylvania flipped from reliably blue to backing Trump – and despite his disappointments, many still say there was no better alternative
“It can be fun to watch – politicians attack Trump, Trump attacks the politicians and the media, it’s like a circus, in a way it’s like ‘Give me some popcorn,’ you know what I mean,” he said. “I don’t necessarily see it as a bad thing. It’s bringing some things to light. Maybe, is that what we needed, to kind of shake things up and stir the pot a little it? Maybe, who knows.”Comment

And Biden, if he is elected, will be elected to move the country backward.
They call themselves "Progressives." They are actually REgressives -- they aim to regress us from a free and prosperous people to an impoverished dictatorship.Comment
