Thank you for the answer. Kind of non-specific but that would be an improvement. Too much to ask? Has been so far in a lot of places. Maybe that changes.

There's the saying,

"don't do __________ or you'll have a riot on your hands!"

Meant as a caution against taking something too far. Police need to realize that they're causing some of the problems out there.

Not everywhere, but in the "hood," YES! Not because everyone in the hood is living a life of crime, but because even the people there who deserve police protection seldom appreciate it when they get it; so let them stew in their own juices.
