I can see this happening this summer in some large city. Cop get tired of getting punished for doing their job so they don't. Peaceful protestors start to loot and burn, cops say, "not me" and do very little to stop the mayhem. Buildings and business start to burn, fire department refuses to go in due to danger of getting hurt. Cops say the situation is out of control and too dangerous due to the fire possibly spreading which it does. "May you live in interesting times!" Glad I don't live in the city and I feel bad for those who do.
