    Medical Waste

Trump didn't wear a mask or PPE on the floor, and the day's production is getting scrapped. FDA rules on the factory floor do not allow for Presidential exceptions. Geeze nobody catches a break with this guy do they? Except for the "fine people."

And Uncle Joe will take over, and under his wise leadership peace and prosperity will reign.

This is literally his presence turning needed medical supplies into trash because smearing his orange makeup with a mask is an unacceptable projection of weakness.

Sounds like someone hasn't gotten over the shock of 11/16. Sincerely. bruce.

per the article, the machines were only running while he was there, not before or after,
so did the crank it up just for the visit?,

if so, was it just for a photo op? or background?

during that limited time in operation, did they follow thru with all protocols, or just enough to get the pics?

the website locked up on my slowwwwww work computer,, so I did not finish the entire article

Maybe sleepy Joe will pick your favorite president ( Obammy whose father and stepfather was a Muslim ) as his Vice President. Then you will be REAL happy.

The thing about Trump is no one tells him "no" because they don't want to get abused on Twitter. Trump wants to tour your plant for his purposes but has no interest in following your rules. Whadaya gonna do about it? It's not like he's fundamentally a reasonable person who you'd be glad to have as a neighbor.

Togor you are obsessed with Trump..or else you are a dem operative, But either way, it's really getting old and over done.. As I said before, dem. or repub. each have their right to say what they want. but you carry it way to far with your constant and over board negative Trump obsession and posts.
You're using this forum as a Democratic campaign venue. Chill out a bit..

                    alrighty,

incognito mode on the laptop helps me avoid the 3,487,635 popups and ads from that site, since they want me to whitelist them on my adblocker, (nope, )

                    from the article,

"The running of the factory machines is very limited today and will only occur when the president is touring the facility floor," Virginia Templet, the company's marketing manager told USA TODAY in response to questions about the event. "Swabs produced during that time will be discarded."

                    also from the article,

seems that the Gov't needs to step it up in Maine, or have better (if any) oversight of the private sector that is ordering supplies, (depending of course on who owns the nursing homes,,, private or public)

Nearly a third of Maine nursing homes reported last month they had no nasal swabs to collect specimens, the Portland Press Herald reported. Nearly 61% of those that responded to a Maine Medical Directors Association survey said they had seven or fewer at their disposal.

                    and,

OMG did Trump do a good thing???

National shortages of swabs was part of what severely hampered early coronavirus testing efforts. The Trump administration used the Korean War-era Defense Production Act to increase production, which Trump is expected to tout on Friday. Puritan, which received millions of dollars from the federal government to double production, is one of only two companies that make the kind of swabs needed in coronavirus testing.

question not addressed in the article,

was the plant closed for the visit, or is Friday a day the lines are normally shut down?
and was this a photo op? press tour?

                    or,

does Trump read Jouster and decided to do something for togor to whine about?

Well I'm not whining about him proving me right. That said, you are onto something, in that he loves to troll his opponents with deliberately artless actions and rhetoric. Sometimes it backfires though, like when he said "George Floyd is looking down upon us and smiling because of this jobs report." Pretty sure that if George is looking down, it's not the jobs report that has his attention. Trump cultivates enemies and has shown no real skill turning them into allies, just as he creates problems faster than he solves them. A movement based on those habits is doomed to collapse.
