Wonder if he'll lose his FedEx job

Some Posted @withregram • @stfuml This is what James J Demarco did while my brother @russy06 was peacefully protesting in Franklinville NJ. James works for @fedex so now I want to know does this employees behavior align with your company policy? #BLM #blacklivesmatter #blackouttuesday #icantbreathe #georgefloyd #justiceforgeorgefloyd #naacp #civilrights #breonnataylor #saytheirnames #racism #racist #repost".

The guy kneeling on his buddy's neck in counterprotest may not get Employee Of The Month.

Some people are reacting as though there's a slave rebellion going on, and they're furious at the idea that the police should take a step back now, of all times. Which, if someone thinks about it, kinda makes the protesters point.

Probably the guy thought he was being clever with his little twist on the "taking a knee" gesture. As my wife pointed out, he might as well have stood there swinging a noose in his hand. Disrespecting the flag to be doing that in front of it.

At the very best, it was in very poor taste; at the worst...

Poor taste yes, what about rioting, looting and arson? How does this compare to poor taste?

Or for that matter, Hiroshima and Nagasaki? If you're going to make pointless comparisons to try to excuse something, at least go big.

Yes, comparisons like that, what Boggs did, is called "whataboutism". A technique Sam learned from his friends on the right who learned about it from their friends in Russia who perfected it when they were the Soviet Union.

To use your own words, stupid post.

Those people were protesting excessive police violence, not advocating arson and looting. To my knowledge even you criticize excessive police violence so in theory had you been there you would have told the kneeling guy to knock it off. And had he listened to you he might still have his job.

Yes.. had I been there I would probably have told those guys to knock it off as it was stupid. But offensive as it was to some people including me, I still feel it was not against the law and feel their employees have no right to penalize them in so doing while on their days off....Anyway, just my opinion while I'm still a free American to post what I want and before the law and that goes even your employment places, get even more free speech restrictive., Lol .
