$454 Million: Corporate America Floods Social Justice Causes with Cash amid Floyd Protests

Corporations are opening up their treasuries to give money to social justice causes, including Black Lives Matter, in the wake of nationwide protests and riots over the death of George Floyd.

Many of the big companies are pushing their employees to do the same.

Be sure to see the listing of the companies that give. I'm sure some for tax reasons.. and check on the amounts...

Here's "reparations," indirectly--the money comes from their customers, not out of the executive's pockets. The magnitude is new, but not the practice--for the last 30 yrs, Jessie Jackson has made a career of extorting money from large corps. with the threat of bad PR if they didn't "cooperate" by shelling out for his org.

Corporate America does a fine business in the inner city. People there spend every dollar they earn, and the profits generally do not stick around.

Wonder how many of those businesses dont pay taxes, and took loans from the federal government during this latest transfer of tax payer wealth to corporate America?

Too bad they wont allow oversight.

          not always,

the inner city usually has to travel to get to the stores, or take a hoody uber (similar to regular uber, only usually a friend and cash only)

RVA's inner city has very few chains, and usually only one location on the outskirts of the area

After the riots in Ferguson, Missouri, there was outrage -- outrage, I tell you! -- that only one of the businesses burned was a national chain. For some reason, national chains will not establish businesses in areas where they can be looted and burned! It's racism, I tell you!!
