The LA Times said in a recent editorial...

...that the term "looting" should no longer be used because it is racist. As an alternative I would suggest "minority shopping."

Seriously, I used to worry that the Liberals were dragging us into Socialism. But I was wrong. They are dragging us into Fascism. Tearing down statues, removing classic movies from circulation, random destruction of property, denying the rights and trivializing the accomplishment of white people, etc., are among all of the other crap being carried out after the death of the criminal George Floyd. Worse yet, some elected governors, mayors and judges are supporting them. They all seem to have former gotten that America is a Republic, a country ruled by law.

However, I believe there is one good thing that will come out of all of this. These riots and actions against the police will guarantee a re-election of Trump as our President. I only hope that he is also able to recapture the House.

Like MILLIONS of whites put to death by hanging over hundreds of yrs, but NOW any reference to hanging is also called racist! Negrophilia is now the axis around which the rest of society is compelled to revolve.

I said that years ago. They have their own Brown Shirts -- Antifa -- who beat and intimidate people based on their political beliefs. They consider the government to be the master of the people (and not the other way around), and they seek to establish Nazi-style socialism.

Don't forget the long hair. Paradoxically, if the looters are also openly carrying, they're less scary.

Re: facism. Who is more facist these days than Trump? He literally has remade a political party to suit his identity. (Does that sound familiar?) Seriously, need a name. Then we'll thoughtfully discuss.

Starting to think Antifa is the new ACORN.

                      you are a true believer,

your nevertrumpism or TDS is so strong you cannot look at anything Trump related objectively

you think you can, but you also are not truthful to yourself,

it is the way you are, and will be ,

like a snakehandling baptist, or an Atheist, or even a Vegan,

it is what you know to be true, or else,

again, it is your way, and why you catch so much grief here,

but you will reply with some BS and not actually understand a thing I just typed,

                          You're attacking me.

But Trump has remade the GOP in his image, and personal loyalty to Trump, Fuhrer-like, is the primary qualification for any job in the party or administration.

Everything he does is shaped through the lens of how it benefits him personally, as the "divinely-appointed" embodiment of the nation.

He resists any restraints on his power from other branches, and has claimed "absolute rights" many times.

These are all facts, easily observed, not at all concealed.

Your question to me is: why do I find any of this objectionable?

My question to you is: how is it that you don't?

Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties
                            Sounds like Trump's GOP.
