I have been watching the musing in Washington state with a clinical perspective regarding Federal intervention and I came to this rational. This [on the surface] appease to be a local matter. The only Federal response is to with hold mail until this situation is resolved under the rational of protective postal employees and equipment. Why get involved in a lose-lose situation? If the state/city/county requests Federal coverage for loses deny as this was a state issue that the state needs to resolve, not the other 49. Now if other states want to chip into that is their concern and not the fed as long as Federal $$$ are not concerned.
