    Flying is dangerous...

I don't care who you are, what you are, stuff happens. Any time you step onto a airplane you are taking a risk, stuff happens especially when you think you know everything there is to know.

JFK Jr. believed he was special and could do no wrong. Rules and laws didn't matter... he failed miserably because the he ignored the flight rules.

Bill Clinton was above that and swore he never had sex with that woman wearing the blue dress.

Hillary was above that, 26 felony charges... overlooked.

Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo... It didn't matter he was above the rules.

In 2,000, the Missouri Governors son couldn't obey the rules and said "I'm flying this airplane and don't give a sheet that I'm not IFR licensed." They all died.

    Then there is this:

What are the odds they followed the rules?

With no other info available... I'd bet my best friends dog... they didn't follow the rules.

If you have done it enough you can get a little cocky. What's the saying? Oh, I remember, complacency kills.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Red it could have been some thing that warranted them declaring and in Flight Emergency like a bird strike that took out systems and the engine. We lost a B1 low level with three crew simply because of a bird strike. As you know xxxx happens.

as Ron White says in his comedy routine,

how far will this plane take us?

all the way to the scene of the crash, probably beat the ambulance there by 30 minutes
