Some states are seeing about a 6% daily rate increase. That's a far cry from the 35% per day increase at the beginning, when this thing was taking off. However it is still good enough for a quadrupling of daily cases within a month's time. A lot of seniors in those states.

Some of the reasons we are seeing a recorded increase in positive cases in Texas are there are a lot of dumb asses who will not social distance or wear masks and many decided to gather at protest marches in the major cities. Then another major reason is we can actually get a test. Early on you had to be admitted to a hospital before you could get tested. If you had symptoms but didn't go to the hospital you didn't get a test. Those test kits were being used in Ca, NY, NJ, Pa, La, Conn and other states.
