New National Holiday on the way!

And you thought ONE "National Negro Appreciation Day" was enough? Just as the rational minds that resisted putting the Great Demagogue on a par with George Washington by making his birthday a national holiday were denounced as racists, so too will any opposing "National Negro Appreciation Day" number two; it's unstoppable.

Shouldn't you be happy? I thought you worked for the post office.

ONLY Trump's victory has prevented it from being "now," not "next." The Kenyan's plan to put one of his ancestors (that HIDEOUS abolitionist) on the $20 has not been rescinded, only "delayed" by the Treasury Dept. (Of course, Treasury, staffed like all fed bureaucracies by liberals, LOVED the idea, & were cruelly disappointed by having to put in on the back burner.) After that, how long can slave-owner Washington last on the $1?

Juneteenth sounds like baby talk. We are being coaxed into abandoning money and using the card or phone for everything. All part of the plan.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

They lost to the natives here, and couldn't adapt like the Inuit and lost their foothold on Greenland too. Given the chance they might have vacated Iceland, but for the fact there was no timber for boats, the island having been deforested long before.

Nobody denies that, but what counts is what you DO with your knowledge. Chinese discovered gunpowder but couldn't think of anything better to do with it than make firecrackers.

Yrs. ago when working in Portugal I watched a British mini series about the colonization of Rhodesia. A very well made show about what Rhodes did to the local and Zulu populations.

Rhodes turned the country into what came to be called "the breadbasket of Africa," now the poorest & most miserable country in Africa under black rule.

When was it the greatest? Trying to figure out what that phrase means.
