Riots, Protests In Portland Cost The City More Than $30 Million plus..

Protests and riots in just in Portland, Oregon have cost the city and local businesses around $30 million, the Portland Tribune reported Tuesday. But estimates are higher. Plus loss of tax money and increased insurance rates

Local businesses reported a total loss of $23.2 million due to the protests, the Portland Business Alliance (PBA) said according to the report. A PBA survey found that most of the losses were because of store closures, which business owners said cost them a total of $18.4 million. The other $4.8 million was lost due to looting, vandalism, arson or other damage caused by rioters.

Is it possible that some companies will want to relocate from this type of atmosphere to a more stable region of the Republic?

Let us hope -- we got some nice places in Arkansas where they can set up their businesses.

I have a friend who's son is in a band based out of the Seattle area,

they (the band) has a warehouse they own/rent/lease (no idea which) that the use for practice, store equipment, etc,

they have no idea if it is still usable, and fortunately his son lives several miles outside of the Chaz/Chop
