I had a few new buyers ask me why they needed to do a background check,
'I don't have a record'
'I don't understand why you need to check my background, I have done nothing wrong'
I explain to them that every gun purchase requires a background check (from a dealer) and they were flabbergasted,
one actually said, 'but the news said I didn't need one, I could just order it and pick it up'
