If we're very lucky we'll have four more years ...

If we don't win in November, it's over.
If we do win we'll have four years to prepare for what's to come.
    If that's even possible.
Ever since Wilson and FDR, Conservatism has been fighting a
losing battle against Totalitarianism, Liberalism or whatever you
want to call it. We win a battle now and again like Reagan and
now Trump, but winning a battle is not the same as winning
the war. The "Indians" found that out after beating Custer. the
"White Man" just kept coming and it was merely a question of time.
That's where we are, they just keep coming. They've conquered
the Schools, the Universities, the Courts and the Newsrooms.
They've taken over the big Cities pushing us into fly-over country
and the suburbs. We fight by the Marquess of Queensbury rules,
they fight dirty - in fact, dirty isn't a strong enough word.
So if any of you can see a light at the end of the tunnel that isn't
an oncoming Tank - let me know, I could do with some good news.

There are 2 bright spots here. I believe we will win in November because the sane, middle class people in this country are fed up with the looters. The rioters have defeated their own purpose and hostility toward blacks is now the highest it has ever been. If they go into the suburbs most of them are going to get shot.

Second. Thanks to Trump we now control most of the Appeals courts. If he wins in November we get at least 1 more Republican on the Supreme Court.

But as you say, if we lose in November, America as we knew it ,is finished and will never return.

Yes, hopefully we'll win, but as for the Supreme Court
nominations - Democrat Justices NEVER stray.
Ours do, like Roberts and Gorsuch. They get invited to parties
if they vote the "right" way.

There are some indications that the business money is shifting contributions to who they suspect might be the winner; Biden. Even though they know that it will be a big hit on business. They(not all) still want to go with the smart money. Taxes will immediately go up. All kinds of Green restrictions. Even more money thrown around, as hard as that is to believe.

Out of curiosity what news has people down? My impression of the bubble is that it's pretty good at keeping"bad thoughts" out.

Same song and dance. America will end, etc.

When you're like 90 years old, what difference does it make? What America are you missing? North, South, Central?

Any hostility is 50/50. No one likes little punk kids wrecking stuff. White or black. It's a black thing but too many whites, "don't want to miss out on the fun". The gun talk is just bar talk.

Either way, CV19 is still the bear walking the streets and controlling our lives. Biden's win will tip the canoe that is a given. Many are willing to tip the canoe to prove their point, just look at New York City. Violence is way up so let's cut the police budget, next will be the fire department as racist. This is inevitable in the democratically controlled AO and it is up to you to keep it from happening locally. Athens, Ohio city councilwoman just got the city to declare that racism is a health matter and the idiots are jumping on board. Wonder how long the liberal PD is safe from budget cuts.

I would be willing to bet that if you dug deep enough, many businesses are hedging the bets a bit by donating to both sides,
