A few Democrats apparently disagree with free speech,

Some Democrats apparently disagree with free speech in the country

The CEO of Goya Foods admitted Friday he is facing a backlash after praising President Donald Trump at White House event - but said: 'I'm not apologizing.'

Among those calling for a boycott were Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and model Chrissy Teigen, an outspoken Trump critic

Goya Foods is largest Hispanic-owned company in the U.S. but now faces a boycott campaign after CEO Robert Unanue praised Donald Trump

He spoke at a White House event on Hispanic prosperity and said: 'We are all truly blessed, at the same time, to have have a leader like President Trump'

Almost immediately there were calls for a boycott with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and failed presidential candidate Julian Castro among those demanding one

Also joining in the calls were Lin-Manuel Miranda and Chrissy Teigen

The CEO went on Fox and Friends Friday morning and asked if there was a boycott said: 'Yes, it's suppression of speech.'

A boycott of one particular brand of canned beans is not a suppression of speech. Pulling the cord on the amplifier would be suppression of his speech. Did anyone do that?

People hear someone praise Trump and rightly conclude there is something wrong with them, and by extension, their business model.

Keep in mind, she is an elected and paid government representative. Not just an average person at large, not sure if it's okay for her to promote a boycott of a pvt business?..Regardless just because he spoke well of Trump..

The man is entitled to his OPINION! freedom of speech. In March and April alone this year, Goya donated over 300,000 pounds of food, or about 270,000 meals, to food banks and other organizations as part of its pandemic relief effort.

And the Dems want to shut him down..Doesn't make sense..

Of course it makes sense! Regardless of the damage it does to freedom of speech, and to a company that actually helps the public, this kind of crap helps the Democrats keep their enslaved minorities in line.

Makes PERFECT sense because a "minority" member deviated from the required "party line"; he got out of lock-step. Hatred of minority Trump supporters is particularly vicious.

I buy certain Goya beans not available under any other brand name, but their stock has been severely depleted for two months; this partially explains it.

Liberals have long believed that if you disagree with them, you can be drummed out of your sex and race -- consider Biden's comment that if you don't know to vote for him, you aren't Black.

                    He's certainly raised the bar.

The Supreme Court in another case used the phrase "Chilling effect." The evil here is not only that it penalizes a man for speaking out, it's a shot across the bows to ANYONE else who would speak out.

And it also fulfills Joe Biden's dictum that if you don't support Democrats, "You ain't Black."
