It turns out that nobody knows for certain masks are a necessary act that protects you from indoor atmospheric transmission of the Coronavirus.

In the new guidance, released Thursday (July 9), WHO said that airborne transmission of COVID-19 in crowded, indoor locations with poor ventilation "cannot be ruled out."

"CANNOT BE RULED OUT..." That is an absolute declared proof that it can't be ruled in either.

infectious disease experts contacted by Live Science said it's not clear that airborne transmission is playing a big role in the diseases's spread.

And yes, the virus is below pandemic rates in most of the U.S.

So, prison and huge fines are being instituted against people that go against the assumed risk that they are either being infested or infesting others by the mere act of breathing without a mask.
