Deputy, a 22-year veteran, is seen on bodycam video firing at least nine rounds

Ruis worked for Michigan Department of Transportation and had no past criminal record

N95 and N100 (or N,R,P) respirators with a vent only protect the wearer if properly fitted. The exhaled breath through the vent is not filtered.
