    Who Said This?

Anyone figure out the Where and When?

ours must be a party of liberal thought, of planned action, of the enlightened international outlook, and of the greatest good to the greatest number of our citizens.

Acceptance Speech at the Democratic Convention (1932)

That was the party of FDR, Orville Faubus, W.J. Fulbright, George Wallace, Lester Maddox, LBJ, JFK, etc.... all of whom were extreme racists. Just like today's crowd of so called liberals that hate anything that would restrict the Government to those they choose and would make elections meaningless. What you and the Communists and togorists want is a period of anarchy and destruction so you rebuild the nation into a total dictatorial nation with no freedoms. BLM is a tool being used by them much like the Hitler supporters back in the 1930's. They want to control lives from cradle to grave and they will not stop no matter of the freedoms we lose, no matter if millions die, Power is the God they are on their knees worshipping. They are the scum of the earth.

ROTFLMAO Hoover would have done as well or better than FDR. In fact nothing FDR did ended the depression. All those fireside chats may have made some people feel good and thats all. The depression was ended by WWII... As far as the depression went, it was caused by economic missteps and foreign activities and disruptions. WWII would have happened no matter who was the President of the U.S.

Just as the COVID-19 would have happened no matter who was president. Trump banned Chinese travel on Feb. 2, 2020. If he had banned travel from China on the day he was sworn in, we and the rest of the world would still have the virus running rampant. It doesn't matter whatever Trump did we were going to get the virus and it would spread itself just like it has done in rest of the world.. Come now, smart ass, and tell me that if Trump had not been elected, the USA would have never had the virus. Lie, lie, lie, twist and turn... I'm sure you've never caught a 10 pound catfish... they roll and twist and turn because the hook is in and they are desperate, that's why you roll, twist, turn, and dodge. You have never been right about anything. I hope you rot in hell.

Astonishing and yet not surprising, that even with some passing knowledge of how things turned out since 1932, you'd still have taken Hoover. And now you're sticking with Trump, who is infinitely more incompetent than Herbert H.

            Red:

Let's dispense with the "he banned travel from China" boast now and forever on two accounts:

            1. The predominant strain in this country is traced to Europe, a place from which travel was NOT banned.

            2. If you have to go back to January to find an example of something Trump did right on Covid-19, you're not helping your case.

It's as I suspected--he's supremely incompetent and if he ever faced a stern test while in office, he'd fail it badly much the worse for everyone. There is no proof you can offer to refute this. Try as hard as you like.
