Defund the police... a great idea

So under the new Democrat/Socialist/Communist plan there is no need for police. Just think about it... it would be a wonderful world without cops. Nobody to arrest drunk drivers, nobody to enforce any law. Why would people go to the trouble of getting a drivers license or license plates for that matter? Nobody to arrest bank robbers or murderers? No need for stoplights! Utopia is just around the corner! No need for any laws if there is nobody to enforce them. Yes, it would be a wonderful world without cops.

Typical RED to take the knee jerk reaction and run with it to the furthest extremes. If you actually were willing to read on the subject you'd see there are a range of opinions, centered largely on "yes we need police but not as a force additionally used for oppression or extortion". I would think you would get that given your own experiences.

In NY city, criminals are being arrested only to be set free the same day and NO BAIL! Biden wants to eliminate bail for everyone arrested! He also wants to confiscate all AR14s, AR16s and 100 round magazines. He's definitely brain dead which is exactly what Hillary and Pelosi want.

Think of all the property tax money that SHOULD be refunded to the locals. After all that's why politicians claim the tax is paid. If the cops are going to be defunded then the money should go back to the property owners.

Of course P-tax is just a HUGE slush fund. The liberals are already making plans for the money not being paid to the PD.

here in RVA, with all the statues removed, I am wondering how long it will be before the city adjusts the tax on the houses on Monument Ave,

surely the folks that live there will suffer a property value loss,
