In any case, sending squads of Federal LEOs into cities to fight with protestors, in a manner that is uncoordinated with local government, is doomed to only make things worse. Former Director of Public Safety, right? Put that old hat on, one last time. Tell me that poor coordination between different jurisdictions doesn't doom missions.

The BCP goon squads are in these cities long enough for Trump to figure out if they give him a bump in the polls. If they do, then he'll add more. If they don't, he'll eventually pull them out, just like he's sorta half-heartedly got the memo on masks.

Added: what would be interesting is to see if Trump tried to send Federal forces to a southern city like Atlanta. I bet that he doesn't, and we all know why.

Tell that to the next cop who orders you to do something. Or ask your lawyer if you have the right to refuse what you consider an illegal order, or to resist arrest because you think the cop is acting illegally.

Tell that to the next cop who orders you to do something. Or ask your lawyer if you have the right to refuse what you consider an illegal order, or to resist arrest because you think the cop is acting illegally.

We all understand the coercive nature of policing, and that it is at times necessary. But they are not the law. It has been said many times, but some people don't get it: real power is defined by restraint.

The local gov't in left-wing controlled places like Portland is IN LEAGUE with the rioters! It's BECAUSE the local gov't did NOTHING to control the destruction of public & private property that fed forces were dispatched to restore the rule of law in a lawless city.
