Yankees and Nationals kneel in unison before the first game of season

Any body getting tired of this?..

Yankees and Nationals kneel in unison before the first game of season just days after Trump said the game was 'over' for him when players took a knee. But then rose for a taped performance of the national anthem

Players from both clubs knelt during the opening day ceremony Thursday night, which featured several references to the ongoing civil rights movement

They wore T-shirts saying Black Lives Matter during batting practice and placed a long black ribbon on the ground, before they all knelt

Trump tweeted Tuesday that kneeling during the national anthem is a 'sign of great disrespect' and the game is 'over' for him when players do it

The president also marked baseball's opening day by playing catch with sports legend Mariano Rivera in the grounds of the White House

I heard the fans were so outraged they refused to come to the stadium? No?

Look, the younger generation wants a different social blueprint for race relations than the one you enjoyed. If it's a free country then they should be free to make that choice, right?

How many of them have ever attended or even watched a baseball game?

Let's seen how long this black ass-kissing goes on when fans are allowed back in the stadium.

You are correct. If sports want to piss off some fans then this is the year to do so. Americans have short memories and next year hopefully things will be different and this just a memory. Except for me. I refuse to watch, the NFL, NBA and MLB is too slow for me to watch. Never did watch NASCAR.

Were you this bent out of shape in the 1960's?

Ray, sounds like they hit the target audience.

                      It depends.

If you were pro-dog-and-fire-hose back then, and haven't reconsidered that position since, then you'll have a narrow view of current events.

We're discovering that "Bull Connor Lives!"

                          Anyone surprised?

I think you are the one with the narrow view of current events..These are the current events and you don't want to face it as you can't defend it..
