Just another typical week of shooting, burning,, rioting. and protesting..

Black Lives Matter protests turn violent: One shot dead during march in Austin as youth detention center and police precinct are torched in Seattle and demonstrators gather again in Portland amid standoff with feds

A protester was shot and killed in a shooting at a protest in Texas Saturday night
Shocking footage showed people marching in downtown Austin when gunfire rang out
In Seattle, cops declared the protests 'riots' Saturday afternoon after unrest broke out in the city

People vandalized and set fire to the East Police Precinct and a juvenile detention facility

Portland demonstrators chanted 'feds get out' outside the Marriott, where they believe officers are staying

Tensions mounted in Chicago, with protests taking place all across the Windy City Saturday

Federal agents have so far been sent to Portland, Chicago and Seattle as part of Trump's law and order sweep

Cities that have so far avoided the wrath of the feds also ramped up protests Saturday night

New Yorkers clashed with NYPD officers in the Big Apple and several were arrested in downtown LA

And it's not even August yet.

Too bad we blew it on Covid-19, and in many cases, continue to blow it. Gave people time and opportunity to protest.

    On the bright side,

Just another week of the Democrats laying the foundation to turn the U.S. into just another third world nation.

Why should we have nice things. Two thirds of the world don't.
          I should write protest slogans.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

I have a question -- if the Three Stooges love socialism so much, why don't they move to California and enjoy the benefits of that system?

Trump's Congress are (corporate socialists). Why move?

I love it when retirees enjoying socialized health care and old-age income programs talk about the dangers of socialism.

They are "enjoying it" because they had no other option but to pay into it. Believe me I would rather have invested my "contribution" on my own without any help from Uncle Sap. Also like all socialist programs it's going broke.

As I have pointed out, when I retired from the Army I worked for about a dozen years in a job that had a 401k. I put in the max, 15%. At the same time, I was putting 15.3% into Social Security (including the "employer's contribution" which of course is MY money -- I earned it.)

Today my Minimum Annual Distribution from that 401k is about 1 1/2 times my Social Security AND my wife's Social Security. Imagine where I'd be if the socialist government hadn't stolen all that money from me, and I had put it into the same investments! Imagine where we'd be if the socialist government hadn't stolen money from us throughout our working lives and we had been allowed to invest it.

Everything I have, I earned. It's all bought-and-paid-for -- some of it with blood.

If you find yourself needing Social Security now (meaning your private savings isn't enough), then it s a safe bet that you would have spent it back in the day instead of accumulating it over a lifetime.

BTW, Alexander Hamilton would have found nothing to like in Donald Trump.

You worked in the private sector for a defense contractor for 12 years? Everything else earned is from suckling at the teat of the taxpayer. And you're complaining about theft? As a taxpayer, I'm the one who feels robbed!

Hey fool I don't need SS because like rayg I invested my money and never lived beyond my means. Hamilton would have liked an entrepreneur like Trump a darn sight better than the professional political class that occupy the Democrat party hierarchy especially a dimwit like their current candidate.
