The New York Police Department says 303 of their vehicles have been vandalized since Black Lives Matter protests sparked up across the city two months ago in the wake of George Floyd's death.

Law enforcement sources told The Associated Press Tuesday that the damage bill could top a whopping $1 million

And that's just it. The taxpayers should not have to pay for vandalism. Destroying emergency, federal, county and city vehicles should carry additional fines and jail sentences.

Anything damaged should be paid for by the ones responsible.

Hard to determine during a riot? Block off the whole city block if necessary.

While the troll would argue against this the ones doing the damage should have to pay. They will all state they don't have the money but that doesn't seem to keep them from writing checks they can't cash. They have assets that could be seized, family members could cough up money to bail them out or they could do hard labor till the $ is repaid.

Same for those being deported. They have no problem coming here but always get a free ride (in comfort) back home. This needs to end. They need to pay or just be placed on the other side of the wall to walk HOME.

If people aren't going to be held accountable it will only get worse till a democrat gets their claws back into the WH.

The salary is chump change. As for ownership transfer, you believe incorrectly. Ownership change would involve sales, and tax ramifications. He let's the boys "run things" but still gets a cut. I would think that government revenues are an increasingly important source of cash flow for Trump Inc., given the impact of the pandemic on the "destination" industry.

All Presidents spend taxpayer money, but I'm unable to recall one who does it with such disregard for the taxpayers as Trump, as evidenced by his rejection of any form of oversight.
