Shocking video captured the moment Andrew Duncomb, 25, was knifed in the back while out filming a protest in Portland early Saturday morning

'I was stabbed for being a conservative journalist,' the videographer says

Duncomb believes that people began following him after they recognized him from his past videos and pro-Trump commentary

The clip from Saturday's incident shows him approaching one man trailing him before the man suddenly pulled out a knife

The stabbing suspect was identified as Blake David Hampe, who was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon
Hampe claims Duncomb had 'set up' on him and tried to choke him
