He was one of the few blacks I would have actually liked to see in office.

No. But if his death saves the lives of others, by illustrating the very real danger of the pandemic, then it isn't a total waste. Think about it--if not for the pandemic, and the choices he made, he'd still be alive. He had the money, the resources, to ride this out in a safe place. It's not like they forced him to make pizzas or lose his job.Comment

Face masks do not filter air plus you can breath right through them.
Only a canister mask like a gas mask filters air.
Cain being a politician, no doubt was surrounded by many people at times, perhaps too close.
There's more about COVID-19 that we don't know than what we do know.Comment

Imagine that, political positions with real life-and-death ramifications. One can almost imagine politics, the Presidency, being serious grown-up stuff again someday, as opposed to a seriously awful reality TV show.Last edited by togor; 07-30-2020, 06:38.Comment

The fact that you don't like Trump is cause enough for you to gleefully announce that Cain died simply because he was a friend of Trump? How sick.

No glee here. Cain died because he downplayed the threat of the virus, in an orbit with other people who took a similar view. He had a choice, unlike so many who didn't. You tell me--did Herman Cain die for freedom? Or did he just die from Covid-19 like 150K other Americans have so far.Comment
