I noticed for the past few years they constantly pushing on T.V shows, news etc. do not eat red meat, I found when I eat red meat often I feel more energized and healthy even think clearer, so what is bad about that? I feel this no red meat agenda is an attempt by the secret people/gov to keep Americans weak and stupid in order to make it easier to control them.
Eat your red meat

I eat red meat so I'm not going against you---just adding info.
A friend and former classmate (woman) had to have some of her intestines removed due to polyps/cancer. The "crap" now collects in a plastic bag that she has to wear on the outside.
I'm certain there is a medical term for all of this.
The doctors blamed it on eating red meat since red meat takes longer to digest and supposivly stays in the digestive track longer. Also, she never had a colonoscopy. Genetics may play into it also although no one in her family had ever had any similar problems.
In short, there may be something there that affects some more so than others. Red meat may be very bad for some but does not seem to affect everyone. (seatbelts may save a few lives but the mass majority will never get any benefit from wearing them)
Red meat is one of the best sources for protein and who wants to eat just chicken or pork all the time?
I wish I could become a vegetarian simply because I love animals but for me there is no protein substitute. Beans don't agree with me---they're practically a poison. -
Red meat (also an eater, have a split side coming up in October, and need to make room for it) is observed to increase inflammation in the body. Something about the kind of proteins in it that cause the human body to have an inflammation response. Inflammation is considered a source of a lot of problems, including hardening of arteries.Comment

My father raised cattle, so not only was our freezer always filled to overflowing, but he was always giving beef away to friends, & our dogs ate like few others. Of course, I consumed my share...while there was someone to cook it for me, & more important, clean up the greasy pans, dishes, etc.
But when I moved away on my own, my FIRST priority was avoiding cooking as much as I possibly could, esp. the kind of messy cooking that involves raw meat, dirty pans, etc. It was simply easier by far to cook a large batch of rice, beans, some kinds of vegs, which could be re-heated in the microwave as needed, & that's pretty much what I've been doing for many yrs., along with 6 eggs every day cooked in a non-stick pan that I NEVER wash, merely replace when the "non-stick" wears off. (6 is nothing, Babe Ruth ate 12 every day!) So I became an almost-vegetarian out of laziness, or rather, somebody with FAR too many things I'd rather be doing than wasting time with food preparation.Comment

A good stainless steel pan with thick aluminum bottom works for eggs, The even distribution of heat will keep eggs from sticking. Cast iron is great for steaks! My father raised cattle, so not only was our freezer always filled to overflowing, but he was always giving beef away to friends, & our dogs ate like few others.
