Marine being prevented from cleaning Vandalism To Veterans Museum

Marine discusses being prevented from cleaning Vandalism To WI Veterans Museum

I have been to that museum a number of times and it is one of the best miitary museums around'' see https://www.travelwisconsin.com/muse...-museum-200483 Click on the blank circles to view all the wonderful displays

They Are Not Willing To Enforce Law And Order’ “They were told not to do clean it up and basically were told to stand down.” The Marine said...

Nicholson emphasized that since then, “that museum has now sat defaced for weeks with the administration stopping these veterans from just going out and doing it themselves. No request for money or anything like that — and it’s absurd.”

SCROLL... half way down and click on photo in arrow to see the full damage to the museum.

That's a shame! I guess this is the way it's going to be now. The flag, statues, gov't buildings, museums, what's next, the white house?

Something to be said for allowing the public to see what the vermin did to the bldg.; however, doubt that's the real reason the clean-up was prohibited.

That is a nice museum. It's on the capital square, which is to say a frequent rally point for protests. Time to clean it up may be after sh*t has calmed down a little. Otherwise the site itself becomes another flash point. Not a satisfying answer of course for those who want to see protestors put down with the heaviest hand possible, and then some.

Good point. The turpentine manufacturers are going to make a lot of money.

Headlines are more important, and the dailyfaller is playing checkers, not living in the community.

Those folks, you mean, who think laws should apply equally to everyone?

BLMers deface buildings & monuments & public streets with complete impunity, but look what happens when a non-BLMer writes something un-PC on the pavement IN CHALK: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local...c21_story.html

            Equal justice?

              Equal justice?
You're complaining because they chose to ignore the police and got arrested?

Tina Whittington, executive vice president of Students for Life of America, said police first warned that they would detain the group if they painted the street and then told them they could not write on the sidewalk with chalk.

Caporaletti and DePriest began to write faster when police moved to arrest them for defacing public property, rushing through the word “Pre-Born” when officers approached them, according to a video taken by the protesters. They were arrested and held for about an hour before returning to the scene to condemn the city for its response to their protest.

“This is government censorship,” Caporaletti said through a bullhorn, with a Planned Parenthood sign behind her and a “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” poster between her and a small crowd.
It was catch and release. Not a knee on the neck or pepper spray to the face either.

But to your point....you don't want equal treatment. You want the cops to smash your enemies as ruthlessly as possible. Stop pretending otherwise. It's unconvincing.

Well Ray according to the left, if you're white and heavily armed, and protesting masks, then the cops will show you extreme courtesy. If on the other hand you're black and unarmed and protesting police violence, then you have to keep your eyeballs peeled. Local cops in most cities are behaving better, but in the open days after George Floyd was murdered, many cities, including NYC, many episodes were caught on video of cops doing things that they should not have done. It all lines up as the right wants the cops to smash the protests for dark-skin rights, and is looking for any provocation to try to aid that cause. You yourself seem to look online constantly for reasons for the cops to smash.

OH HOLD ON!....you forgot to mention the protesters, and the looting, and burned buildings, shootings, etc ...when you say, many episodes were caught on video of doing things that they should not have done.

Who's pretending? I want flame-throwers brought out. I wish I could be one of the operators.

But that doesn't nullify the monstrous hypocrisy of cops standing by while BLM smashes, burns, vandalizes, some of the damage beyond repair, but arresting someone doing absolutely NO damage to anything.

The law can be capricious sometimes. Just ask any black motorist.
