The corruption in Government departments is virtually total ...

This guy's dept was gathering info on communications between
"Protesters" (a euphemismj for rioters) and our media journalists
(a euphemism for rioter supporters) maybe to see the extent of
collaboration. This is obviously not allowed as the guy has lost
his present job and is now probably cleaning toilets.

Did he have a warrant? Isn't this the sort of off-book intel stuff that people dislike? Or is it okay on protestors, but NOT OK when investigating whether candidate Trump might be someday blackmailed by video of his golden shower from a Moscow hooker?

One of my "bucket list" items is to learn what Putin has on Trump. God As My Witness, he has something.

Not a thread hijack DT, just trying to understand when surveillance rule-bending is okay and when it is not, in your mind.

Didn't need a warrant as compiled Open Source Intelligence Reports about the work of two journalists who had published leaked department documents.

Pee tape and Hotel permits. Probably the latter, at least for his kids sake.

Ray these are the things Putin has on Trump, in his speculation. No doubt Trump was recorded saying/doing some outrageous stuff while in Moscow. Consider:

                1. Trump says and does outrageous things all of the time.

                2. The Russians would naturally record every minute of his trip there, especially any time he was enjoying their hospitality.

Just as 2+2 = 4, Trump + Moscow Hotel Suite = Blackmail Gold for Putin.
