You know what redlining is? It's the practice of denying housing loans to blacks outside of certain zones, on the principle that it could hurt property values. Landlords do it too. Fred Trump signed a consent decree with DOJ for refusing to rent to qualified black applicants.

Fine, but home ownership for a very long time was the primary wealth builder for the middle class. By freezing blacks out of markets where they can build equity over a lifetime, and use that to boost subsequent generations, as whites have done, you are committing to a policy where blacks are deliberately kept out of the middle class. If that's your goal, then at least be up front about it.

I have great black family friends that live near me..Husband has a good job and nice house..Well loved in the community. Hasn't hurt property values. More to it then race..
