Chicago leaders want Illinois to ban History Classes ...

History it seems is racist, therefore we have to ban it. It's kinda
difficult altering the past but if anyone can do it, the democrats can.
They did it in Orwell's 1984 so why not ? Why not re-write it so
that every important invention of the past was actually discovered
and brought to fruition by Black Women ? That will make everyone
happy, besides all those people like Tesla who claim to be the real
inventors are dead and dead men don't argue or tell tales.

Might be a good idea to ban Geography as well, let's pretend we
all live in Gondwana as one big happy family.

Well to be fair they're just asking for a curriculum reboot. This should also comfort those who thought the subjects were already too PC. Apparently, not so. Lastly, trying to teach a bunch of unwilling Chicago kids about Pilgrims and Indians is probably a waste of taxpayer money. Agree?

Jack Daniels recipe was stolen from a black man.
Watermelons were first grown in Africa.
The White House was built using black slaves.
All above being told as gospel truth. Plus more!

I thought watermelons came from SW Asia, like so many other foods.

Just before that BLM arsonist Julius Caesar burnt it down.

Agreed--might as well try to teach a chimp algebra.

I have encountered that paradox before. When you point out the shortcomings of the public education system, you will always be met with "It's the parents' fault!" and other excuses.

If all that's true, then we CAN'T educate the children -- so why are we spending all this money trying?

Not hard at all! Most (thoughtless) people reading something in a textbook will never question its veracity.

Parents aren't blame-free (esp. those who could afford a private school), but the left-wing "educational establishment" is principally responsible. During the last election, websites of the teacher's unions were indistinguishable from the Dems, as they no doubt are now.

Blacks are saying watermelons were originated in Africa.

Nazi Germany tried to rewrite history and burned books that went against their false beliefs! Radio broadcasts were slanted to nazi idealisms. Nazis, like the democrats, said if you tell a lie enough, people will begin to believe it.

My point is, they (the Educrats) basically say, "It can't be done!" My response is, "Then why should we pay you to do it?"
