    Trump Axios Interview

For those who want to see it for themselves. Not likely to bring independents or anyone with a college degree to his side.

BTW, DT may be proud of his fellow Brit, whose skilled use of simple follow-up questions forced Trump to labor mightily with some of his points. I've dealt with Brits professionally and their skill with the English language compared to many Americans or Continentals is so often an advantage. This interviewer was on his game and extremely well prepared.

Possibly, but same history with the language. A thousand year head start compared to so many others.

Now why would you make a statement like this interview will not bring anyone with a college degree to his side?

And he is correct. I use that saying a lot. You can't change the facts.

Polls show that Trump support drops off among college educated independents. Trump's A-game is emotional appeals to grievance. That sells better with people who feel less upwardly mobile and more threatened. In this country, the more education you have, the more doors that are open. There's also the intelligence aspect, that some of his arguments are just transparent BS, and exposed as such by this interviewer.

Well here's the thing. In a 30 minute Biden interview, you might find 30 seconds that make a good clip for the opposition. With Trump, it's practically the full 30 minutes. The whole exchange over Covid death rates, fumbling with printouts, arguing over testing rates, the furtive glances to staff off-camera where Trump's eyes say "WTF is going on here?" A child can see what's going on here--Trump doesn't have a clue.

Trump's bubble is OAN and the Fox opinion programming. He's no longer a good bet to roam freely in the wild.

The President has had many, many. conversations about many numerous things and subjects during the last months. Not like past presidents who spoke to the public once in a blue moon....If at one time, as you say, he wasn't on top of it, (your opinion), who cares..

He equates having the camera on him with governing. Bleach injections, anybody? Ah well, it is what it is.

Thanks for the clarification on the college educated. Just to let you know I'm an Independent with two college degrees and I'll vote for Trump,

Ray he spouts Bullsh*t constantly. It's a surprise when it isn't crap coming out of his mouth. That really only happens when he's reading something someone else wrote. And then 2 days later he disowns it with a Tweet. But extemporaneous speech from Trump? In an interview? 100% Bullsh*t mode, every second. Your challenge if you choose to accept it is to find something consequential in a Trump interview that is objectively not Bullsh*t. You can't do it! Nobody can!
