It does happen. But nationally speaking, you are in the minority and the trend in this cycle is away from Trump.

Remember the "Miracle on the Hudson"? Sully's water landing after total engine loss in a bird strike? It is what it is, not a phrase found on the cockpit voice recorder. We're 6 months into the Covid era, closer to the beginning than the end. Trump is using the fatalists' motto to describe the administration's policy. Explain to me how this is the stuff of Making America Great Again, if you can.

-it is what it is- You cannot say that if you want to retain any respect from the rest of us(well, me).
      You're absolutely right.

Your challenge if you choose to accept it is to find something consequential in a Trump interview that is objectively not Bullsh*t. You can't do it! Nobody can!

It is what it is, probably isn't the best way to describe something in most situations....just saying...
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

You need a recent Biden video? The internet can hook you up. True he's not endlessly blathering away every moment, probably doesn't see his job that way.

                  How was that an excuse?

You on the other hand DO make endless excuses for Trump. This week alone, we have the Yo-semites and the Thigh People to excuse.

Ha, Ha, You tried to cover the reason he's not in the public much by saying "True he's not endlessly blathering away every moment, probably doesn't see his job that way." That's an excuse for his not being seen in the public .

Also I never made any excuses for Trump's behavior.

You make no excuses for Trump because even his worst behavior doesn't bother you. Not exactly a badge of honor for you.

As for Biden, you're confusing a Trump ad with objective reality. There's nothing there to excuse.

How miserable it must be to be totally consumed with hatred just because someone you don't like kicked the ass of one of the sorriest POS that ever ran for President. Get over it; the election was decided almost four years ago, and it is almost time for another one.

If Biden should beat Trump, so what? It will be like four years of back to back Saturday Night Live. If Trump beats Biden you can be miserable for another four years.

It's amazing how these disappointed Hillary voters are still consumed by hatred. It must be like acid, eating away at their brains.

One immediate benefit of a Biden presidency is that Conservatives, and their media, will wake up the morning after the inauguration and start demanding a competent Federal Covid-19 response, the way they did for Ebola. So long as Trump chooses to mail in his effort, they stay silent.

Sorry there would be no benefit of a Biden presidency...

The obvious point being a President who doesn't bend or break every rule in sight. Followed up with.... someone in the Oval Office who reads at above a sixth grade level.
