Money isn't speech, and corporations aren't people. Sorry, but both statements are true. The fact that a court declared otherwise is at the root of many unsolved problems today. People understand that the changes they want never break through, because money keeps politicians locked up. The system is not democratic.

      More liberal BS.

Who is each???? Each candidate? Each voter? Each foreign PAC? Each non citizen? Each inmate in prisons? Each Corporation? Each union? Each citizen?

      broader selection of candidates.
Oh yeah we need to expand number of candidates. Total BS. Any citizen that is not a felon and is of age can run right now. Blacks, Whites, Japanese, Transgenders, Asians, Lesbians, Communists, Nazi's,Democrats, and yes those dirty, awful Republicans can run for political office in the U.S.

vast changes since this was written
Read the article... I'd bet my best birddog you didn't spend more than 2 minutes reading the Federalist Paper #68. I'd bet my favorite deer rifle that haven't read a single one of the 67 previous Papers.

OK; Red you win, lets leave the system the way it is. It has been working great for over a hundred years, why change it. The whole country should be good for an other 100 years or more.

Actually for almost 250 years -- the Constitution was ratified in 1788.

Almost 250=over 100 in my limited math ability. Keep gov't for the 'people' as is and don't try to make really for the PEOPLE.
Now that gives another reason to dislike my opinion so I'll give another reason;Question, How much do you think these 70+ year old candidates will spend to be the next president?

Don't know. What does it matter?
