It's Bullsh*t spouted from Giuliani. BLM is not like the NRA, with a fancy headquarters and insiders pocketing millions. Giuliani has been a crony's crony since he left the NYC mayor's office, ingratiating himself with one set of deep pockets after another, increasingly Eastern European, where they're slow to realize how useless he is.

BLM is grass roots, using Facebook as a free organizing platform, same as everyone else. The "they hate white people" line is just race war crap to try to sucker feeble minded white seniors into pissing away their vote on Trump. In many cases it's effective, sadly.

Now, this isn't to say that there aren't blacks with deep antipathy towards whites. Of course there are individuals with this mind set. But institutionalized agendas to stick it to white Americans? No. Institutionalized agendas to stick it to black Americans? Absolutely. That asymmetry explains the zero-sum racial attitude of many older whites. "For as badly as we have screwed them for my entire life, naturally they want payback if they ever get a chance!!" Well, as a rule, no, they don't want revenge. But they do want equality.

Quit worrying about black people, Ray, and the decline of white racial advantage. Accept the fact that America is a multi-ethnic state, destined to be that way from the beginning, and the way forward is to split politics from race. That will happen when the so-called "Conservative" party stops deliberately alienating non-white citizens, who themselves have a conservative outlook, in order to appease the existing base of low status whites.

David Brooks, a columnist who himself has never done anything, imagines the Republican party of the future as a working class party. He's absolutely fooling himself. Right now I don't see the Republican party as having a future, except to run this country like Venezuela, as a failed banana republic with crony capitalism, all institutions politicized, democracy suppressed, and state power slanted to benefit an ethnic minority.
